Hi Guys! I would like to share my entry for July's challenge in shadersxyz, which is a Beer foam shader ! It was really fun for me to play with, it ended up that there is still a space for me to improve this shader. I am trying to improve my shading work more by doing this challenge, and in the progress I feel so satisfied ! It went a lot better compared to my first couple renders.

And in the bottom I would like to share with you guys some breakdown, starting with the building of the displacement, and the method that I used, in this one I ended up having 2 different geo, which one is for the foam + fine bubbles, and the other one is for medium + big bubbles, since from my observation it seems like I can see some of the little bubbles underneath. The foam + fine bubbles is a PxrLayerSurface with SSS layer + glass layer with the fine bubbles mask, and the big bubbles is just a glass material with an opacity map in it (since I am trying not to add any additional geo in this challenge). Everything was done in Renderman. I would like to say thank you to http://www.shaders.xyz/ as well for such a cool community and credit for the medium/bigBubbles mask OSL Shader by Julius Ihle!
